Big Traffic problems in town yesterday from snow

It snowed all the way to Alta Sierra Wed. We arrived home from the Bay Area at 4pm, about 15 minutes ahead of the storm. Those caught in town were jammed up all evening, with folks even abandoning their 2 wheel drive cars. Lots of fender benders. Today is beautiful and sunny, but the big hill looks icy & dicey and sign says road closed. Garbage truck got sideways on Pasquale AGAIN this am. Be careful out there. More snow due 2nite. About 1 foot on the ground as of this moment (1:50 pm).
